LYNN COUNTY, TX (KCBD) - A Lynn County girl has died from her injuries after an afternoon go-cart accident near Lakeview.
Lakeview is located in west Lynn County near the Terry County line.
It happened around 3:30 Friday afternoon.
A Lynn County Sheriff's Deputy told us that two people were riding in a go-cart when it flipped. They said the passenger, a young girl, was hurt and at first believed to be not breathing. When authorities got to the scene, they said the girl had a pulse and a light heartbeat.
The girl was driven to Ropesville, where a medical helicopter from New Mexico landed at the high school football field to take her to Covenant where she later died.
