Crime Line Tip Leads to Forgery Charges

Three woman caught on tape at a local department store last month have been identified and charged with stealing and forging checks.

The tip came after NewsChannel 11 showed surveillance video from June 6th at the Lubbock Target store. The women tried to purchase more than $500 worth of merchandise with stolen checks. The checks were stolen from the break room at Mardel's Christian bookstore earlier that day.

Arrest warrants have been issued for 24-year-old Micki Trevino, 45-year-old Patricia Martinez and her 23-year-old sister, Priscilla Michelle Martinez. Police say Priscilla Michelle Martinez is jailed on unrelated charges and will receive her warrant in jail.
