Services announced for Kaeleigh Weatherly

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lynn County girl killed in a go kart accident will be laid to rest Thursday.

 Authorities say 9-year-old Kaeleigh Renea Weatherly was thrown from a go kart Christmas Eve. She was supervised, buckled in, and going less than 10-miles-per hour in her go kart, her family said. Kaeleigh was airlifted to Covenant where she later died.

Kaeleigh's funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon at the Monterey Church of Christ at 6111 82nd street. The burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Woodrow.
