Source: LSOLUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock man is in jail accused of trying to take a police officer's gun by force.
Police went to check on Abraham Sanchez last week because his family members reported that he was suicidal.
Newly released court records saying that Sanchez denied being suicidal. As officers left his home he followed them out to the front yard and tried to grab the gun from Officer Michael Scott's holster. He was arrested with no reports of injuries.
