Behind Bars After 25 Years on the Run

He was on the run for twenty-five years and now a suspected killer is behind bars. 83-year-old Margarito Hernandez turned himself in to El Paso police on Thursday.

Plainview police have been looking for Hernandez since December 21st, 1978. That's when he allegedly shot Georgia Ruiz twice in the chest at her Plainview home.

Police say Hernandez is requesting medical attention but is expected to be sent to the Plainview jail soon.
