A man in his early 70's hit a car near County Road 1585 and MLK around 10pm Friday. Samuel Zamora then fled the scene. Minutes later his van collided with a vehicle at the Slaton Highway and Loop 289. Zamora was apprehended at 76th and MLK.
He was arrested for driving while intoxicated and issued tickets for evading arrest and failure to stop and render aid.
