Couple admits running two-person check forging ring
Federal investigators broke up a two-person check forging ring in Lubbock. On Thursday, Markus Garza, 32, pleaded guilty to one charge of Conspiracy to Make Possess and Utter Forged Securities. His girlfriend, Trista Ann Commer, 26, also pleaded guilty to the same charge.
