City Councilman Floyd Price hospitalized

By James Clark - email

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - City Councilman Floyd Price remains hospitalized as of Wednesday afternoon, having sought medical treatment earlier this week for a blood clot in one of his legs.  Covenant Medical Center says Price is listed in good condition.   The medical term for his condition is a thrombosis.  While a thrombosis can be harmless it can also be dangerous if the blood clot breaks free and travels through the veins to the heart & lungs.

According to spokesman at City Hall, Price is doing well.  "He is doing well and continues to respond favorably to treatment.  Councilman Price wants to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers."
