Tahoka to shut off water, boil water notice for safety

By City of Tahoka | Posted By James Clark - email

TAHOKA, TX (NEWS RELEASE) - This is Retha Pittman from City of Tahoka.  The City of Tahoka will shut water off city-wide beginning at 2pm Thursday for approximately two hours.  Between avenue B and C just off of hwy 380 a main water line has a two-foot break.

We suggest you gather some water to use during the two-hour repair time.  Also, share this information with your family and neighbors who may not received these notification calls.

For your safety, Tahoka will be under a "boil water notice" immediately in effect when the water is turned back on.  Water samples will be tested Monday.

When a "boil water notice" is issued, it is only for water that will be consumed.
