LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - If you can imagine Blue Man Group, Cirque Du Soleil, and some larger-than-life Slinkies all mixed together then maybe you imagine just how visual The Aluminum Show will be when it opens Friday in Lubbock.
An official statement says, "Aluminum is a new performance combining movement, dance and visual theater." That same statement also says, "inanimate objects come to life with energy, emotion and even personality."
David Azulay, the show's Executive Producer, says "Lubbock is actually our opening night in the United States. It's our debut for our new production. It's the first time we've done it in the U.S. We've been in Lubbock for almost 10 days now."
When asked what can Lubbockites expect, Azulay says, "They can expect a lot of visuals things that they've never seen before. They can expect a lot of dance on stage, a lot of imagination."
Azulay says, "We will take them to a journey to a new world that they've never seen before."
Performances are Friday at 7:30 PM, and Saturday at 2:00 PM & 7:30 PM. Tickets range from $19 to $46 and seats are still available by calling 770-2000 or going to SelectASeatLubbock.com
