Funeral services set for 4-year-old, Chance Jones

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -  Family and friends will celebrate the short life of 4-year-old Chance Mark Jones on Monday.

Services for Chance will be held at Victory Life Baptist Church. He will be laid to rest at Resthaven following the service.

Authorities say the little boy was beat to death. Chance was found unresponsive Tuesday in his Dad's house. The four-year-old was flown to a hospital in Amarillo where he died.  

His biological father, Robert Babcock, 38, is behind bars on $1 million bond for a capital murder charge. He also faces one count of domestic violence to a child.
