LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Monday night and Tuesday morning, temperatures in Lubbock could drop down into the single digits, and wind chill factors could drop to below zero.
So, with temperatures expected to drop into the teens or lower, the Salvation Army is reaching out to those who might need a warm place to stay. The Salvation Army will act as a day shelter and allow people to come in and escape the bitter temperatures.
Starting Sunday and continuing through the rest of the week, the army reaches out to those who choose to stay on the streets and provide them with a hot meal, warm clothes and blankets.
