Lubbock Police report that an employee at the United Supermarket located at 50th Street and Avenue Q was injured trying to stop two suspects that fled the store with two, stolen 30-packs of Budweiser.

Lubbock Police are asking for your help to identify a suspect accused of stealing beer from a convenience store. Surveillance cameras captured video of the suspect on different dates and hours stealing two 30-packs from the 7-11 at 19th Street and Quaker Avenue.

A Lubbock man drowned over the weekend while rescuing his nephew. The Oklahoma Highway patrol reports that 33-year-old Carlton Peters died Sunday at Lake Texoma, North of Dallas.
