Exhibit featuring the human body at South Plains Mall

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A unique exhibit featuring the human body will go on display at the South Plains Mall Saturday.

"Bodies Human: Anatomy in Motion" includes more than one-hundred actual human bodies that have been specially preserved through plastination. Plastination is a process that preserves tissue with plastics, for teaching and research purposes. It offers viewers a chance to see the inner workings of our bodies, plus the effects of lifestyle choices on our health.

The exhibit will run through March 27th. Tickets are $18.00 for adults, $15.00 for seniors, and 12 for children ages 5 to 12. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
