Overpass work requires I-27 closure

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is scheduled to close both the north and southbound main lanes of I-27, at the Regis Street overpass beginning Tuesday, January 18. The closure will allow crews to pour concrete for the I-27 bridge decks.

Traffic will be detoured around the area via the I-27 frontage roads. Drivers can expect the detour to last until Friday, January 21.
