Minor Car Accident Ends in Car Chase

What started as a minor car accident lead to a police chase and eventually ended with an arrest Sunday.

Lubbock Police say that a hispanic woman hit another car near 4th St. and Avenue Q around 5:00 p.m. Sunday. She then fled the scene.

The chase began when police tried to pull her over and she would not stop. The chase ended in front of the woman's house in the 400 block of 42nd St. She was arrested for driving while intoxicated, evading arrest, and leaving the scene of an accident.
