Lubbock man drowns in Galveston Bay
A Lubbock man passed away Saturday morning on Galveston Beach. Investigators with Galveston Beach Patrol say BJ Petty, 34, died around 10AM. Investigators say Petty was boogie boarding with his family, when they lost sight of him. He was found a few hours later.
