Immunizations for Your Children

Your kids might be ready for school when it comes to new shoes and clothes, but did you remember the most important item on that back to school check list? Immunizations.

According to state law, they can't even go to school if their shot records are not up to date. That's why the Lubbock Health Department is offering several free back-to-school immunization clinics.

  • Tuesday, August 5th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the South Plains Mall next to Sears
  • Saturday, August 9th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Toys 'R Us
  • Tuesday, August 12th from Noon to 4 p.m. next to Sears at the mall

Of course, you can always get your vaccinations at the Lubbock Health Department for $5.00 or a sliding scale basis. Medicaid is accepted. You can call (806) 775-2914 for clinic times. Don't forget to bring your shot record because no shots will be given at any of those clinics without it.
