NewsChannel 11 asked some construction workers at Brownfield Highway and Loop 289, how do they get through these hot summer days? According to Billy Jennings with Granite Construction it has to do with how much you drink and how hard you work, "Drink plenty of water and Gatorade and try not to work as hard and take some breaks and stay hydrated."
Health officials say the best way to eliminate the risk of heat exhaustion is to drink lots of water.
