LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – In November, volunteers from across the South Plains got together to make a dream come true for the Brown Family in Wellman.
After their daughter, Alex, was killed in a texting and driving accident back in November of 2009. The Seagraves senior was not wearing her seatbelt. Alex's story has captured National attention, meanwhile her family continues to travel around the state and share it with students and parents in hopes of saving other lives.
In just one year, the Browns spoke to more than 30-thousand people. The Brown Family Extreme Home Makeover episode airs Sunday night.
