LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Right now if you call for an ambulance in Petersburg you'll wait for EMS from one of the surrounding towns, sometimes as far away as Lubbock. But according to the Plainview Daily Herald that's about to change.
The Herald reports that Petersburg is just one person away from having enough certified personnel to re-establish the service. The town needs six, and right now has five. Fourteen volunteers have gone through the training and one by one they're taking the certification exam.
