Interesting animals at McDonald's parking lot

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) There was an interesting site along Slide Road Sunday afternoon. Edwin Snell is from Clovis, New Mexico and brought his 14-year-old camel and Zony, which is a zebra/pony hybrid, to Lubbock this weekend. Actually, you may have seen the trio in the McDonald's parking lot across from the South Plains Mall over the past few weekends.

"We've been out on the weekends giving ride to the public cheering up everyone's day. He's just kind of like my big dog now. He just hangs out in my backyard when we're not working he begs for treats all day. You wanna say something to the news, you can't eat this one man." Says Snell. edwin s

Edwin got the camel 11-years ago and then trained the 3-thousand pound guy himself. He now gives rides and what money is made he uses to pay for the feed.
