LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - For the second year in a row, a Lubbock man is recognized as one of America's ultimate displaced football fans.  Just about every item in Ted Ferreira's home is decorated with either the Minnesota Vikings logo or team colors.

Ferreira entered a nationwide DirecTV contest with a Youtube video showing tongue-in-cheek how he suffers at the hands of Dallas Cowboys fans.  In one portion of his fictional video, Ferreira is waiting on a delivery of Vikings novelties when a delivery truck decorated with a blue & white star approaches his home.  The delivery man tosses his beloved Vikings coffee cups onto the sidewalk, shattering them.

In another mock scene, a Lubbock landscaping company paints a blue Dallas Cowboys star on his yard.  When he calls to complain he is told the Cowboys logo was a "free service."

In the video, Ferreira says, "So here we are living in the great state of Texas, home of America's team.  But we don't root for America's team."

A written statement says Ultimate Displaced Fan contest generates "thousands of entries from people all over the country."

Just like last year, Ferreira won honorable mention and his prize is a year of complimentary DirecTV programming including Sunday Ticket so he can see the Vikings every time they play.
