Lubbock DPS Trooper in crash, minor injuries

By James Clark - email

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock DPS Trooper suffered minor injuries Thursday afternoon.  DPS says officer Troy McKee was responding to a call with lights & siren when he approached the intersection of 34th and Avenue Q.

DPS says the trooper stopped at the intersection and then began to proceed again when his vehicle was struck from the passenger side.  The impact of the crash caused his vehicle to then strike two more vehicles.  DPS says there were only minor injuries for everyone involved.  McKee was said to have a dislocated shoulder.
