Out of the Deep Freeze

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – This morning light snow showers will be scattered over the South Plains, but only light accumulations are expected. Otherwise this morning, expect mostly cloudy and cold conditions, with Lubbock-area temperatures mostly in the teens.

This afternoon will be mostly sunny, and warming, to just above freezing for the first time since Monday evening. The high will be 33 degrees.

Tonight will be mostly fair, and not as cold, with an overnight low of 18 degrees.

Saturday will be partly cloudy and warmer, with a high near 50 degrees.

Sunday there is another chance of wintry showers, and it will be mostly cloudy with a cold wind. Look for a low in the low 20s, and a high in the mid 40s.

Monday a slight chance of wintry showers, with a low near 20 degrees, and a high in the upper 30s.
