O'Donnell teen wins Junior Steer Show in Fort Worth

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) –   Congratulations go out to Landry Barton of O'Donnell who roped in a big win at the Junior Steer Show in Fort Worth on Friday.

According to the Fort Worth Star Telegram, this is the 29th consecutive year a European crossbred has been named Grand Champion. The 17-year-old's steer is light and smoky in color instead of black.

Barton's steer, named Teddy, was auctioned off Saturday for $185,000.
