Weather chills, not stops search for Hailey Dunn

COLORADO CITY, TX (KCBD) - Weather has taken its toll on the search for Hailey Dunn, 13, of Colorado City.  On Saturday, 10 volunteers went out and searched in much improved weather conditions.  Previous searches involved much larger numbers of volunteers.

Temperatures had been in the teens and 20's for much of last week but on Saturday high temperatures in the area were in the mid to upper 50's. 

One search coordinator was quoted as saying the search continues and more volunteers are needed.  Hailey disappeared the last week of December.  Her mothers live-in boyfriend Shawn Adkins has been called a suspect by authorities. 

Anyone with information that could provide information in the case is asked to call the Colorado City Police Department at 325-728-5294.
