The school year is almost here and your help is needed now more than ever to stuff the bus. The South Plains Food Bank and United Supermarkets are teaming up to gather school supplies for low-income families.
The week long drive began last Saturday, but according to volunteers this year's campaign is off to a slow start. "The one thing we're worried about is come Monday morning, we're not going to have enough bags to furnish all the kids that need school supplies," said Sharon Adams, Special Events Coordinator at the South Plains Food Bank.
