LUBBOCK,TX (KCBD) - Detectives are looking into the injuries an infant suffered as the result of possible abuse.
On Friday, a one-month-old infant was taken to Covenant Hospital after her grandmother noticed an injury to the baby's head. Doctors found the baby had a fractured skull and a brain hemorrage. The infant underwent surgery over the weekend for her injuries. The cause of the injuries is not yet known.
