Electronic store closing in Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – Ultimate Electronics says it will close all of 46 of their stores, including the Lubbock location.

The company filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection late last month. Their Lubbock store just had a grand opening last August. Ultimate Electronics is concerned existing inventory would lose value if it was not sold in a timely fashion, so the store is now holding liquidation sales. An exact closing date has not yet been announced.
