Benefit Dinner for Coach Curtis - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A benefit dinner was held Saturday evening to help raise money for Frenship coach Jimmy Curtis. The dinner was held at the Legacy Play Village.

Frenship baseball and football coach Jimmy Curtis returned home after undergoing emergency liver transplant surgery in Dallas last month. The 42 year-old coach and history teacher received his new liver on July 4th.

His family, friends, and the community were trying to raise more than $50,000 for his medical expenses.
