Car Wreck Kills 68 Year-Old Man - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A 68 year-old man died after his car slammed into a guard rail on the East Loop just before 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Don Allen Neher was westbound near the 2100 block of the East Loop when he swerved into the grass median.

He continued driving in the median until he collided with a guard rail that separates the Loop from the service road. Lubbock Police do not know why Neher left the roadway, but say he was having a heart attack when EMS pulled him from his vehicle.
