LISD School Supply List

Elementary School Supply List

To Parents and Merchants:
All textbooks are furnished free to Lubbock ISD students. The McDougal, Littell Handwriting Program is used at the elementary level and handwriting paper should be consistent with those guidelines. The following supplies are expected to be furnished by pupils. 
Not all pupils in the same grade use the same supplies at the same time; therefore, the teacher's or school's instructions should prevail.

Kindergarten

  • Crayons
  • Scissors * - sharp point
  • White glue - squeeze bottle or glue stick
  • Handkerchief tissues - 1 box

Third Grade

  • Handwriting Tablet 3 (8 1/2 x 11 vertical)-
    • 1/2" rulings on both sides
      1/4" midline, red baseline
      1/4" descender line
  • 16 color crayons
  • No. 2 lead pencils - regular
  • Scissors * - sharp point
  • Metal-edge ruler (inch & centimeter)
  • White glue - squeeze bottle or glue stick
  • Handkerchief tissues - 1 box
  • Spiral notebook – 1
  • Pocket folder with brads - 1

First Grade

  • Handwriting Tablet 1
    (8 1/2 x 11 horizontal) -
    • 1/2" rulings on both sides
      1/4" midline, red baseline
      1/4" descender line
  • 8 color crayons
  • No. 2 lead pencils - big pencil acceptable
  • Scissors * - sharp point

Fourth Grade
