Group of Lubbock hot rodders competed in National TV show

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – A group of Hub City hot rodders competed on a car show called Car Warriors.

Andy Stabb, one of the competitors, says "I have never in my life build a car that fast" "Its uh full adrenaline, adrenaline running on adrenaline nothing but adrenaline uh fast paced I mean you got seventy two hours to build a car "said another hot rodder Cade Holt.

When these men aren't at work they spend most of their free time restoring cars. You could call it a hobby for these 8, but the show takes it a step further. Build a car from scratch on National TV against the best in country. "Lubbock, Texas has got a lot of great car guys that are in it underneath the scene" says, Luke Cork

"Eight guys left Lubbock and we had eight different ideas eight different themes and uh eight different ways" says Andy Stapp. The group men met their match in Hollywood.  "I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of trash he was talking behind my back!" added Andy Stapp. But in all Lux Lucky Garduno, added "I wouldn't change it for the world"
