LUBBOCK,TX (KCBD) - On Thursday, Hobbs P. D. arrested three men in connection with a homicide that occurred January 3, 2011.

Prison Homicide Arrests Made
February 23, 2011 – On Wednesday, February 23rd, the Hobbs Police Department arrested three defendants in connection with the January 3rd homicide of 31 year old inmate Paul Lasner at the Lea County Correctional Facility located at 6900 West Millen Drive in Hobbs. 30 year old Martin Knief, 30 year old Lorenzo Mora, and 31 year old Christopher Morrisette were all arrested for 1st Degree Murder, Conspiracy to Commit 1st Degree Murder, Tampering with Evidence, and Intimidation of a Witness. Bond was set at $1,000,000.00 for each defendant.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information at this time.
