It never fails that in the bathroom, you have to lean in to get a close look at what's going on with your face. Maybe that won't be the case anymore with this, the Handy Hook Mirror. You can hook, hang or stand it anywhere. But does it work?
"A lot of times when I'm putting on my make-up at work, I have to use a compact mirror. So one hand must hold the mirror. But I need both hands to put my make-up on correctly," said NewsChannel 11's Cecelia Coy.
Now if the Handy Hook Mirror works, wouldn't that be a great product? The makers say the secret is in the flexible coil, which is mighty sturdy.
The mirror itself has two sides: magnification and regular. I took, the Handy Hook and hooked it to a door, it worked. I then made it into a stand, and it worked.
Finally, I wanted to see how well it worked around my neck. But before I do that, I wanted to see how much it weighs first. One pound. I think I can handle that.
I put it around my neck and put on my eye make-up. But, I didn't have room to do my left eye with my right hand. It was rather hard to use my right hand to apply the make-up. There was just no room.
But standing the mirror up worked much better. I wouldn't recommend using it around the neck, but hooking it or standing it, it works!
