A Lubbock teen is in the hospital Sunday after his car slammed into two other cars early Sunday morning. The crash happened at the intersection of 50th St. and University just after 2:30 Sunday morning.
According to Lubbock Police, a Pontiac Firebird and a Lincoln Town Car were stopped at a red light when the driver of a Mercury Sable rammed into the back of the them and pushed through the intersection.
The 17 year-old male driver of the Sable was transported to University Medical Center where he remains for observation. Alcohol is being investigated as a factor in the wreck.
