LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Two people are hospitalized following an accident in northeast Lubbock.
Police say Vicki Laxson, 54, driver of a white Oldsmobile Aurora ran a stop sign around 10:15 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of East 4th Street and East Loop 289. Laxson hit Brayan Gomez, 21, driver of the white Chevy Blazer, which landed upside down in a drainage ditch.
EMS took a child in the SUV to Covenant hospital with minor injuries.
Laxson was taken to UMC with critical injuries.
