FireFighters Blow Up Fireworks - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

They were once kept as evidence, but on Tuesday, a truckload of fireworks went up in smoke.

The Lubbock Sheriff's Office Bomb Team along with Lubbock firefighters set fire to the confiscated fireworks at the fire burn house at the fire training center. The fireworks were loaded into 55-gallon drums and then detonated. The fireworks exploded, shooting colorful sparks and debris from the building.

About a truckload of illegal fireworks were confiscated on New Year's and July 4th.
