Whitharral Lady Panthers come up short in state title game

LUBBOCK(KCBD)--The Whitharral Lady Panthers' bid for their first state title in UIL history came up short Saturday night, losing 65-44 to Neches.

It was Whitharral's first trip to the state finals since the induction of the University Interscholastic League.

The loss gives the Lady Panthers a 30-8 record for the season.
