Twenty-five Lubbock County Residents Arrested In Hot Check Raid

Several local law enforcement agencies worked together Friday morning to round up hot check writers.

The Lubbock County District Attorney's office obtained 120 arrest warrants Friday, and of those 25 were arrested. Hot check investigator Randy Nelson says Friday's roundup will return about $16,000 to local merchants.

If you have an outstanding check, the best way to clear your name from the next list, is to call the district attorney's office to set up a payment plan.
