Lubbock gets new youth football league this year

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock is getting a new youth football league this year.  The South Plains Pop Warner Youth Football league will have its inaugural season starting in August.  The league is tackle football for ages 5 through 14. 
 
One of several sign up dates is Saturday (March 12) from noon to 4 PM at Academy Sports, 19th and West Loop.   Parents are asked to bring both a birth certificate and a report card.  For more information you can visit http://www.southplainspopwarner.com/
