76-Year-Old Man Arrested for Carrying Weapon - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Police arrested 76-year-old Bob Roy Jeanes Monday after he carried a loaded gun into the Skillet's restaurant located off I-27. Jeanes claimed he was the National Sheriff of the Republic of Texas.

As of Tuesday night he is charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon, resisting arrest and having a false ID as a police officer.

Two other men with Jeanes, also claimed to be members of the Republic of Texas but were not armed and were not arrested.
