The Frenship bond election is gaining support from the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce. "The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce is for growth," said Kevin McMahon, Lubbock Chamber Chairman. "And we are for progress and this bond package is essential to continue that."
Rapid growth prompted Frenship to ask voters in the district to support a $46.8 million bond package. The package includes new classrooms at existing campuses, new elementary and middle schools, and converting Bennett Intermediate into an elementary school and Casey Elementary into a multi-function facility.
The bond election is September 27th and early voting begins September 10th.
