Fatal Rollover South of Post

Garza County Sheriff's deputies and state troopers say alcohol and excessive speed may have led to a fatal rollover Tuesday night on U.S. 84.

The accident happened just before 9pm Tuesday night, just two miles south of Post. Deputies say forty-three year old Ray Field, of Arlington, lost control of his Oldsmobile, and was ejected from the car when it flipped. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are still looking into the official cause of the wreck.
