Cowboy Symposium Continues - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

From poets, to chuck wagon cooks, to good 'ole cowboys, hundreds are at the Civic Center this weekend for the Cowboy Symposium, but Saturday morning it was a traveling exhibit.

Riders saddled up for the Parade of the Horse which traveled West down main street from the Civic Center before taking Avenue Q back to the site of the Cowboy Symposium. There you can find some old-fashioned cowboys, pint-sized cowboys and some hot roasted food, among other things.

On Sunday you can see Slim Whitman in concert at the Civic Center Auditorium. Tickets to the afternoon concert, start at $12 and will be available at the door
