Lubbock County Sheriff's Department Kicks Off United Way Campaign

Lubbock County Sheriff David Guitierrez and his administrators cooked breakfast for sheriff's office and jail employees Thursday morning. The annual breakfast was the kick-off rally for United Way fundraising efforts.

The sheriff's office and jail hope to raise $5,340 this year. County wide, all organizations hope to raise a combined total of $27,500.
