Following a 21-gun salute at Frenship ISD students released red, white, and blue balloons, each tagged with the names of each victim of 9/11. Crestview Elementary Principal, Doug Smith, recently returned from a tour of duty in Iraq, where he served with the United States Marine Corps.
"Each and every day I realize how bless I am to actually be with our children and serve children the way we do because of my job. I have a great job in that I'm helping to build the nation through our children," said Sgt. Doug Smith, Principal.
