If you've been wanting to test drive a BMW, that free ride for you on Tuesday will turn into thousands of dollars in the name of breast cancer research. 18 high performance BMW's are waiting for you to take the wheel Tuesday in the 7th Annual Ultimate Drive Program to support the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
David Alderson, general manager of Alderson Motors, says that this is the only time of the year that you will find every BMW that they make, from the convertibles up to the sedans, and get a chance to test drive them as many times as you want.
They will be donating $5.00 per test drive. This year their goal is for people to drive over 200 times so that over $1,000 can be raised and donated to the local foundation here in Lubbock.
The Ultimate Drive makes pit stops as it travels across the country collecting a commitment from 285 dealerships to raise money for breast cancer research. So far, in six years, BMW of North America has donated more than $6 million to the Komen Foundation in search of finding a cure for Breast Cancer. Again, your treat in the drivers seat is free.
Look for the Ultimate Drive Tuesday at Alderson Motors at 1210 19th St. on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
