Alesha Robertson new LCHS Hoop Coach

Former Lady Raider Alesha Robertson is the new girls basketball coach at Lubbock Christian High School. The 26-year-old from Plainview who played at Tech from 2003-2007 is excited to lead the Lady Eagles in TAPPS Action.

Robertson says her faith led to her taking the LCHS job and she will have a Hoops 55 Basketball league she will start for area youth.

As for what type of coach she will be, she told KCBD NewsChannel 11's Pete Christy, "I want to mix it between Coach Curry and Coach Sharp and take the best things I was taught. I want to bring motivation and encouragement to the kids and teach them what they can do instead of what they think they can do."

Robertson will officially be introduced as the coach at a press conference next Wednesday at the school. She replaced Brad Crow, who was coaching the LCHS girls and boys, but he will now just coach the Eagle Boys.
